   Sure, there are a lot of catching up to do because I haven't been updating this blog for a while now. So here is a condensed version of my adventures:

  1. Dec. 14, 2006. Ate's box was delivered. Being the "sexiest" member of the family, I've had the most number of clothes from her. My half-rice/wheat bread diet is all worth it.

  2. Dec. 18-20 2006. The College had its Monthly Examinations. As usual, I took the exams without pressure. I just hope I did well, especially in my Computer exams.

  3. Dec. 20, 2006.

   a. Before the Paskuhan event, Cen and I accompanied Reggie in his annual Christmas shopping. He gave me a new pair of shoes which made my day.

    b. Paskuhan. I didn't enjoy the program itself but being with my HS friends has turned the event into a very special night. I also spent time with someone. Yay. :p

    4. Dec. 21, 2006. My RLE-mates and I started doing our Nutrition project. Being tasked to document street foods preparation, we had to mingle with street vendors. Thanks to Joemel's dad for treating us into an instant fishball-chickenball-kikiam-melon-palabok-bananacue-isaw-maruya-betamax food trip! One of the best projects, indeed.

  5. Dec. 22-23, 2006. Geng's Fontana party. Although not everyone from our barkada was there, we still had a blast. After swimming, we had a surprise party for Geng who was all delighted at the sight of her loved ones. Before going back to Manila, we went shopping at Parkson's. There, I bought the cheapest Mouthwash. $1.08 each! They couldn't stop laughing at me because I was really amazed.

  6. Dec. 24 - 26, 2006. Christmas celebration with my family. It was a simple gathering. Aside from the sans rival ice cream, it was the kids' presence that I loved the most. I can't wait for New Year -- a traditionally bigger event in our family. Videoke machine, here I come.

   Christmas brings out my soft side. Everything about the season makes me ecstatic and keyed up--- That I didn't bother all the sweat when I led in building this up. It was truly an amazing and satisfying experience, especially with the Christmas songs being played! I am really in love with the yuletide! Angel

  " It's Christmas time
There's no need to be afraid.
At Christmas time
We let in light and we banish shade.
And in our world of plenty
We can spread a smile of joy.
Throw your arms around the world
At Christmas time!"

Answer to FAQs.
::

  FAQs about Dindee:

  "Den, bakit ka masungit?"
  "Meron ka pa rin ba?"
  "Ano bang problema?"

 My answer:

  I have become tetchy lately, I admit. I had my period last week and I do not think PMS can also stand for Post-Menstrual Syndrome. I am acting crabby because I feel low-spirited inside. The dejection is too much that it even flows out without me knowing. There is a problem but I do not like to go into details. Let's just leave that little of piece of privacy to me (a talkative person, normally). Besides, I published this entry not to bellyache on "my issue" but to leave a message to everyone concerned.

 Though eversince I have been branded "masungit" and moody, I am sentient that what I am TODAY is way beyond the line. I hurt you without the intention of, eventually, causing you to feel discomfited and to be in pain. I am genuinely sorry.  Thanks for increasing your saturation point and for waiting for me to function again. It's just that like you, I cannot always be jovial.

  Just pass the message. For me. ;)

this is not my day.
::

   Today, you started it right. You thought it would turn out well. Unfortunately, it did not. Now, you think everything's in the waste bin. You wish you didn't have today. What's going to happen tomorrow? You'd never know.

   Meanwhile, just stop thinking. Sleep. Dream. Wake up. There is another day. Tomorrow. Perhaps.

One LAST time.
::

  Things I have learned from my outer space exploration:

  1.  I will never intend to risk my life again for the uncertainty of survival there. Swear.
  2.  I am aware ETs exist. They are nice. We don't jive. Unfortunately.
  3.  I love my earth, especially the human beings it houses.
  4.  I am mean for a reason I'd rather say in a language which only I can decipher.
  5.  I want fresh air. Let me breathe.

I can't wait.

DOUBLE
::

 This word is close to my heart for an amazing reason that I have never been single all my life. The attachment to that word has started when Papa's sperms were able to surmount the shield protecting Mame's two released eggs. Mame's body didn't have enough light to let me see how that creature from another egg looked like. I waited for nine months before finally having my first glimpse of that creature whom I have shared my little abode with. Believe it or not, since that moment, I have realized that I was conceived and born with an extra special being named Cindee.

  During the early years of my life outside Mame's tummy, I really had no idea that Cindee and I were atypical from the other sperm-and-egg products. I used to wake up seeing her face first before my Mame's. I also used to take a bath with her and wear the same outfit she had on. After that, I would go out with her and play with our neighbors. Yes, the picture was like Bananas in Pajamas having fun with Doding Daga. Cute, isn't it?

   As I grow up, I have started to recognize that we were not just siblings born at the same time, that we didn't look cute just because we wore matching outfit or we played 10-20 really well and that our names have only one letter difference. I have a twin sister. To add more, I don't look like her. Doesn't that make my life more attention-grabbing?

   Being with her is not always a pleasurable thing. I have been in an environment where people continuously compare us with each other. Often times, people ask, "Who's more intelligent? Pretty? Behave?"¯ Because of this, our parents saw the need to recognize our own identity as an individual and not as a part of twins. I'd like to think that this is the rationale why Papa and Mame decided to throw away everything that Cindee and I wore in common.

   Little by little, it has become more perceptible that we are two separate entities, as shown by the way we live our own lives. The diversity in our characters has caused many misunderstandings, punching, crying and all the indescribable way of expressing hatred. However, no matter how dissimilar we are, we still have resemblance. In fact, together, we laugh at the corniest text messages; eat corned beef dipped in peanut butter, cheese and catsup; cry over an episode of Maalala Mo Kaya; and solve crimes behind our parents' back. We try to compromise with each other's assets and liabilities which is why we have founded a lasting friendship based not just on our addiction to bags and popcorns but most especially on honesty, trust and love.

   Sharing a bigger world outside Mame's tummy with Cindee, my Number One Fan and Critic, makes twice the pain and four times the fun. Aside from the powers of Papa's sperms and Mame's eggs, it is God's wonderful work that has allowed me to experience everything in double. Now, let me ask you, do you want your own version of Cindee and Dindee?

   I have a brother, but that is another story.

I will have you tomorrow! Yey!
